Chiloschista viridiflava var. alba mounted, flowering size
This leafless orchid species from Thailand is really interesting. Before reaching flowering size it drops its small leaves and continues to photosynthesise from it's roots. These are just at the stage of starting to put up flower spikes. Flower picture is an indication only as these are seed raised plants. Easy to grow - these are mounted on sawn timber, as they seem to vastly prefer this smooth surface compared to cork or other mounts.
